Seto Pixel takes scams and payment fraud seriously. Online fraud can happen when criminals pretend to be a genuine business, copy a brand name, create look-alike social pages, or send fake invoices to pressure people into paying money or sharing private information. This page explains how to recognise suspicious behaviour and how to confirm that a message, invoice, or payment request is truly connected to Seto Pixel.
Seto Pixel will never ask anyone to share bank logins, card PINs, one-time passwords (OTP), CVV numbers, or account passwords through email, chat, WhatsApp, social media messages, or website forms. Card details must not be collected or stored in unsafe ways, and sensitive card information must not be captured or saved on a website, server, or records in any form. This is also consistent with standard payment-gateway expectations and the rules that apply when card payments are accepted online.
Payments for Seto Pixel services should match the details shown on an official invoice or written agreement. If a message asks for urgent payment, offers a deal that only “works today,” demands immediate action, or instructs payment to a new account that has never been used before, treat it as a red flag and verify before paying. Scammers often rely on pressure, fear, or excitement to stop people from checking properly. A small difference in spelling, domain names, or invoice formatting can also be a sign of impersonation.
If Seto Pixel accepts card payments using a payment gateway, payment processing is handled through a third-party system, and refunds must follow the same route as the original payment channel. A common fraud trick is to ask for an “alternative refund method” or to request cash in exchange for a card refund. That is not how compliant refund handling works. Refunds linked to card transactions should be processed through the same gateway used for that transaction, and cash refunds should not be offered for card sales unless required by law.
Seto Pixel may use a payment gateway solution powered by CyberSource to support secure online payment acceptance, depending on the payment method used for your invoice. To learn more about CyberSource Payment Gateway at a high level, CyberSource publishes product information here:
Fraud sometimes happens after a real payment too, especially with chargeback abuse. A “chargeback” is when a cardholder disputes a transaction through their bank or card provider instead of contacting the business first. Some disputes are genuine, but some are raised unfairly after receiving a service or deliverables. Where chargebacks happen, banks may reverse funds, apply penalties, and require evidence such as proof of delivery and clear customer support records. In many card-payment setups, the merchant remains responsible for chargebacks and disputed transactions, and amounts can be recovered from merchant settlements or future payouts.
Seto Pixel may pause work, delay delivery, suspend access, or request extra verification if there is a reasonable fraud concern, suspicious payment behaviour, or a mismatch between payer identity and invoice details. This is done to protect genuine clients, reduce the risk of stolen-card misuse, and prevent disputes that can harm both parties. Payment processors and acquiring banks may also suspend payouts while they review suspicious transactions or disputes, and interest or recovery steps can apply if disputed amounts become payable.
If a suspicious message is received, do not click links, do not open unknown attachments, and do not share any private details. Keep screenshots, note times and payment references, and contact the bank or payment provider immediately if money has been sent or card details may be compromised. If a card payment is involved, the issuing bank can guide the dispute, card replacement, or security steps. Acting quickly is important because banks often have timelines for investigation, dispute filing, and recovery.
